Ray has been photographing people for over 40 years and is passionate about capturing the unique and personal connections between families, children and even people with their pets. His focus is on creating portraits that epitomize the very heart of a moment, individual personalities and the unique relationships that people share. Having won 10 National and State Photographer of the Year titles you know you are in qualified hands. Ray’s years of experience enables him to ascertain very quickly the essence of his subject’s personality and allows him to capture the real you.
For 17 years Ray was a judge for the Canon APPA Awards here in Australia and in the last 4 years was selected as an International Judge for the Portrait Masters International Awards based in Los Angeles USA. Ray’s award-winning images have been published in numerous books, magazines and calendars and he is a sort after speaker and mentor to others both here in Australia and overseas. His profile was recognised by channel nine where he was asked to photograph live on the midday show ‘The Wedding of the Year’ and many celebrities.
Unlike many other studios, at Hollywood Studios you won’t get a junior photographing your session. Your portrait session will be personally captured by Ray himself and as part of the full Hollywood service, your final portraits come inclusive with full retouching by our expert digital artists.
