Our vision is to offer a 5 Star Portrait Studio that is like no other in Australia. We want our customers to enjoy their experience and enjoy our state of the art studio sets and award-winning photography. Our aim is to provide unique artworks with a lifetime warranty.
Our Story
The idea to create Hollywood Studios undercover outdoor studio was influenced by the studios in Europe in the 1900’s. Back then studios created a quality image that most studios of today cannot reproduce. This is mainly due to the use of controlled natural light and unique settings and props. Most studios in Sydney use a plain white backdrop with harsh flash photography and this was something that we wanted to steer clear of. To inspire our team we went to Warner Bros Studios USA to see how the movie industry maximises their scenes. With help of set designers, landscapers and builders we were able to create a studio here in Australia that is like no other. An outdoor undercover facility with beautifully controlled natural light where we can photograph rain, hail or shine.
Our Facilities
People are surprised when they first see our studio. We regularly hear the words “WOW this place is amazing.”
Known as one of the largest purpose-built Portrait Studios in the Southern Hemisphere you have the opportunity to experience Studio 1 our undercover outdoor studio. It offers an array of scenes from our ‘country style set’and ‘grand classic sandstone entry’ to a ‘natural beach boat scene and beach rockery’ or our ‘fresh tropical courtyard with grand gates’. Our indoor studio, Studio 2 has a variety of soft plain backgrounds to a formal fireplace setting. We also have some amazing vintage props from rocking horses and antique bikes to cars and chairs. Our studio facilities have been designed to photograph with natural light which gives our portraits a softer and more natural look. A full commercial flash lighting system is available if requested. Viewing your portraits images will be in our theatre room. A 2 meter screen and some cool software will take the guess work on ‘how will my finished image look.’ All the design and retouching is
done in house ensuring absolute quality of the finished product.
What does it cost? Your initial investment is a studio Session Fee $380. This is paid to book our studio, photographer and a separate design session appointment. This is up to 3 hours in total and the sitting fee does not include images or prints. Your portrait investment starts from $495 for Desktop Art , Framed Wall Art from $695 and hand bound Portrait Albums from $1995. We understand we are not cheapest, but most families coming to us don’t want the normal cookie cutter style portraits and are prepared to invest in quality portraits that are uniquely designed for them. All our finished pieces are created with finest materials, custom made and come with a Life Time Warranty.
Most families invest $800 – $3000 on a story of their loved ones and we do have payment plans available.
